Written Communication
I have always loved books and words. Maybe it is in my blood. My great-great-grandfather was James Fenimore Cooper, author of Last of the Mohicans. My grandfather was a newspaper editor. My mother was a librarian, and here I am now, spending most of my days in front of a computer stringing together long chains of words.
I have an odd habit of collecting old books. I rarely read them; I just like to have them. Somehow, having stacks of Civil War era or turn-of-the century books around makes me feel at home.
When I was homeschooling my kids, I forced them to learn Latin. "Isn't it fun to learn roots?" I would exuberantly ask my reluctant learners. Their fascination never equaled mine, but I loved what I discovered amidst the syllables on those pages.
I have realized my dream of being a bookmaker myself. I am a published author with short stories appearing in Guideposts, Chicken Soup, Bethany House, Barbour House, and Harvest House compilation books. I am a newspaper columnist, and have published three books of my own.
I have been working in marketing communications for more than three decades now and use my love of words to provide communication and publication services to a wide range of clients. I have a diverse range of clients in a vast array of businesses and organizations that rely on me to provide them with carefully written pieces including technical writing for manufacturers and corporations, public relations, editorial writing for periodicals, and publications.
With a team of highly skilled copy editors and proofreaders to back me up, I can provide the writing services you need to deliver your words to the people who want to read them.
